Thanks to social media Meray Paas Tum Ho memes are everywhere. Even if you are one of those odd individuals who haven’t seen any of the episodes, yet you cannot avoid being touched by the frenzy and fad of the final showdown. Danish is dead… Every fan man or woman, young or old is shocked to the bone.
A great drama series has ended on a high note. Just like cricket the serial brought the whole nation together. Every cinema hall of the country was jam packed, every family was glued to the TV screens. Streets were deserted and every heart ached at the misery and death of Danish. The saying “love conquers all” seems utterly wrong in the context of the drama. “Love destroys all”, it destroyed Danish to death and devastated Hania for life.
It must have been a proud moment for the makers of the drama that created history especially for the writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. There are many aspects of the drama worth discussing, story, themes, acting, direction, dialogues etc. but Meray Paas Tum Ho memes are hilarious. They have somehow dispelled the gloom and melancholy created by the undesired death of Humayun Saeed (Danish).
As the soon as the double episode on ARY Digital concluded, phones began to beep and WhatsApp messages containing Meray Paas Tum Ho memes started spreading like wildfire. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram flooded with memes of all kinds. Politicians also came under heavy ridicule especially Prime Minister Imran Khan for his statement “sakoon sirf qabar main hi ha”.
In another meme, double meme to be more exact, Qaim Ali Shah is supposedly said that he was devastated by the death of Danish Kaneria while Danish Kaneria is shown to have clarified in a tweet that he is alive.
Another one says that Prime Minster Imran Khan has announced 2 days of mourning at the death of Danish. The funnies of them all is the one in which Omar Akmal is singing the OST and the caption says that Omar Akmal’s singing is the actual reason of the death of Danish.
The storm of Meray Paas Tum Ho memes have gone so wild that we even have a tweet of US President Donald Trump who is puzzled as to who Danish is and why every Pakistani is concerned about him. This is unprecedented and it is highly unlikely that any drama in the near future will surpass or even match the popularity and fame of Meray Paas Tum Ho.
