Urwa and Mawra Hocane, the girls who can

Urwa and Mawra have recently announced the launch of their new clothing line on social media.  The news has hugely excited the fans on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook alike. The upcoming brand named UXM uses the initials of the two sisters (Urwa X Mawra) separated by the X factor.     

The picture on Instagram had a description that read “Mawra & I have been with each other since her first day on this planet. We’ve loved each other for as long as we can remember. Our sisterhood has been an inspiring journey for us & we’ve attempted to translate that Love & affection into this tangible world, our #UXM. It is for the all the girls #whocan dare to live life on their own terms yet effortlessly in sync with the Beautiful world around them”.

The new clothing venture is an outcome of the inspiring sisterhood that stands for friendship, love and beauty. The brand, as the first glimpses suggest, will offer casual western styled clothing with some chic accessories. The market is full of clothing lines including celebrity owned brands. It will be challenging task for the girls to make space in the market.

The siblings stars are expected to share their first collaboration with their fans in the coming few weeks. Urwa and Mawra support and complement each other very well. Their mutual understanding and cooperation will go a long way in establishing the brand on strong footings.

Both enjoy a lustrous modeling and acting careers. With numerous TV serials to her credit, Mawra made her film debut in Bollywood with Sanam Teri Kasam. Her first Pakistani film was the blockbuster Jawani Phir Nani Ani 2. Urwa started her acting career with drama serial Khushboo Ka Ghar. She also has four Lollywood films to her name that include Na Maloom Afraad, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Na Maloom Afraad 2 and Rangreza. ‘Girls who can’ is the brand idea of UXM. The idea is aimed at inspiring and empowering the women of Pakistan. Having a positive social message it will also translate well for marketing communications.
