What next for Ali Zafar after Teefa in Trouble

In the showbiz world of today Ali Zafar can be termed as a multi-talented superstar, and rightfully so. He is a fine actor, an excellent singer and an intelligent producer. He is also a songwriter, model, screenwriter and painter.

On the showbiz horizon there are a very few celebrities that qualify to be called the “Superstars”. If we look at the music industry Atif Aslam stands tall among the rest. In acting we have Fawad Khan, Fahad Mustafa, Saba Qamar and Maira Khan. As the superstars are few multi-talented superstars are fewer.

The recent exhibition of his talents was Teefa in Trouble. The film was a great box office hit. Pakistani film industry needs people like Ali Zafar who could produce quality work. He has a huge fan base in both India and Pakistan. He made his film debut in Bollywood’s “Tere Bin Laden”.

After the success of Teefa Ali Zafar is now planning his next feature film. The details of the projects have been kept under wraps so far. It is expected that his next film will be filled with action, romance and some soul stirring music.

Last year before the release of Teefa Ali Zafar found himself in a serious controversy. Singer Meesha Shafi accused him of harassment through a tweet which said “Ali is someone I have known for many years and someone I have shared a stage with. I feel betrayed by his behavior and his attitude and I know that I am not alone.” The allegations were denied by Ali Zafar who declared that he would take the matter to the court.

Ali Zafar gears up for his next film after Teefa in Trouble.

Ali Zafar filed a defamation case against her in Lahore High court.  The court order came out saying that the case be concluded by April 15, 2019. Meesha has now challenged the order in the Supreme Court. The legal battle is on and it cannot be said how long this will take to settle. Let’s hope that justice will be done and these celebrities will focus on their work to produce some entertaining stuff for the music and film lovers of Pakistan.
