Yasir Hussain admits his ‘danedaar’ comment was mean

You can’t take Yasir Hussain out of the news these days. The actor is doing things that is getting him the limelight for all the ‘right’ reasons. Yasir has recently admitted that his comment “danedaar” on a picture of Hania Aamir was mean.

Hania had strongly reacted to this comment saying that it’s a serious issue that must not be joked about. You must be wondering what all this fuss is about. Actually, a couple of months back, Hania had posted a picture of hers on Instagram showing her face with acne. It was certainly not a pleasant picture to look at, but Hania on a philosophical level has questioned the idea of beauty itself.

Yasir Hussain admits his ‘danedaar’ comment was mean.

She writes on Insta “Why is my skin defining me? Who has made these beauty standards that we always feel the need to match? The society? Clear skin is beauty? I know that the idea of being ‘perfect’ is appealing to majority but you don’t need to be an airbrushed flawless image to feel beautiful.”

One cannot agree more with Hania about beauty stereotypes. But the question of all questions is that are we willing to challenge the so called standards of beauty made by the society? There is a huge difference between a philosophical ideal and its practical manifestation in real life.

Yasir Hussain must not have thought about the idea of beauty or ugliness when he made that comment. He has now clarified his position in Faiza Saleem’s web show. When Faiza Asked what was the meanest comment he ever made to which he said ‘danedaar’. During the show he also revealed a lot of other facts about himself which he claimed nobody knew about.

Yasir Hussain was also in the news recently when he proposed Iqra Aziz during LUX Style Awards. His awkward kisses and embraces to Iqra pricked a lot of people on social media for being indecent and highly inappropriate.
